1st place overall womans in Spanish fork 1/2 marathon, Tristate 1/2 marathon, Death Valley 1/2 marathon, and the Utah Valley marathon (4-12-08)

Run a sub 3 hour marathon and have a blast doing it.

Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

 got up early to run and had to take the baby in the jogger, I am sure people think I am a nut for running with my baby early in the morning.  But felt good, wanted 7 but that is all i had time for.

P.M. chest and back with hubby plus about 30 mins of just dance on the wii with my kids

Went out with Ericka, Brune and the baby for 3 miles, the wind was so bad we called it good and then did p90x abs.  Hopefully will get some more miles later.

P.M. went out with Melody for a 4 mile loop from her house.   Still very windy but much better not pushing the jogger.

Ran early this morning.  Went early to get some miles in before because I would at the most be able to run 5 with the girls, I had to be home a little early.  I ran 2 and then went to met Rebecca and Marie but it didn't look like they were coming out.  I ran around for another 10 mins. and Rebecca came out so we ran a 4.5 mile loop.  Stretched

Taught a yoga class this morning for my ward.  Also had them do P90x abs and pilates legs for a warmup.  Went out after in the warm temps and ran the CC loop felt good.  Kept a good pace even pushing the jogger.

Decided to do a 5k to see were I am at.  Warmed up with Ericka 4.5 it was snowing, then Melody joined for some and then Michelle made and we ran some more because the race was going to start much later than we thought.  I got 6.5 miles in before the race (9:08).  The race was completely flat and had a lot of turns.   Michelle paced me and I had told her I would like to hold between 7-7:15's  she is always an awesome pacer, she keeps me focused even when I don't want to.  The race started and we had a bunch of kids go out and die pretty quick leaving just a couple of kid which we ended up passing though the race, Melody and 2 other moms.  We all ran together until about 2.5 and they were just a little bit stronger and beat me by a bit.  Yes even Melody 8 weeks postpartum.
