Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Decided I needed to get my dog out so I went an easy 5 without a watch.  Legs felt tired but not sore.  Came home and stretched and did the elliptical for 25 mins.

Glad to see you are taking some time off too! It's hard to take a break but our bodies will thank us!!! You are such an amazing runner Josse, it was fun to see you on the marathon. Was your trophy as huge as the ones they gave to the first place winner this year? They were HUGE! I hope yours was too, I would proudly display that in my house, as a centerpiece on my kitchen table probably!

:) Enjoy your week :)

I guess that dog keeps you going. I'm glad you had a few days of rest and took it easy today.

Mine was the same as this years. My little boy has it in his room, it is his piston cup.

Nice long-term approach.

I love recovery weeks. Easy to get impatient and start running too soon, so we have to resist and be lazy :)

what is a 'piston cup?'

You were wise taking a couple of days off. I am doing it now because my joints were complaining yesterday.

Piston Cup, I got that! I can't believe how many miles you've gone this week. I'd still be dead barley able to walk down stairs! Way to go Josse! See you saturday

The piston cup is off the Disney Cars movie. My son loves that movie.
