| Met with Melody (she joined the blog so look for her runningafterbabies :), Desiree, and Amanda for a run into Provo. Didn't feel all that great, but better the further we went. Finished up on my own. Cold and foggy, 10 degrees. |

| Got a huge snow storm last night and this morning but that is not why I didn't go out. I didn't go out because I feel worn down and tired so I slept in and did the bike for 30 mins and the elliptical for 30 mins. Felt good doing that and then lifted upper and abs/back. | Comments(7) |

went to the OFC to run on the TM, the roads are slick. Did a 3 mile tempo 7:01, 6:53, 6:52. Felt good should have went one more. 1:00:57/7:37 My year in review in running My low point is still having sciatic pain. But I can manage it and run with it. Had other low points this year not related to running but also had more great things happen so I guess they off set each other right. My high points are I got to run this year and had a PR in the marathon on limited training. I have learned I run the best on lower mileage (60 mile a week compared to 80). Got to run with great people, and run lots of trails with my dog (I am missing that with the snow).

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Last night we played Wii bowling, my 5 year old son bowls with this crazy style (he swings his arm like a windmill) and bowl great. I have to do it granny style and still can't knock them all down so I decided to try his style. We have slick wood floors and I was wearing those great fuzzy sock that keep your feet nice and warm. Well the combination of everything I fell flat on my back, ouch it is sore. Met McKenzie in SF for a good new year day run at 8 a.m. The temps were mild, but we got some nasty wind at the end, I would say 40-50 mile per hour. It was about knocking us over. But we still were laughing so I would say we had a good time. 1:16:09/8:27

Met JulieC at the OFC for a long run, we thought the weather was going to be bad so we were going to run half outside and half in but it wasn't so we did it all outside. We headed down to the river path and went up the canyon. The path was plowed with just a dusting of snow on it and some patches of black ice but for the most part it was nice. The first 10 were just at an easy pace and then we picked it up with the last 4 being at marathon pace (low 7's). Felt a lot better than I thought I would, just some aches in the SI's and low back esp. were I fell on it the other day. Any way a nice way to spend your birthday morning:) 2:44:19/8:11
