Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

I was pretty sore yesterday, but it is mostly gone today.  I didn't run this morning because my son was throwing up most of the night and is not feeling well.  So I just got on the elliptical for 30 mins and the bike for 15 mins.  I might try for a run later when my husband get home.

Abs/back

pm- went out around 3 pm and it was hot.  Because I am not use to 83 degrees I felt awful.  But glad I got in a little run.

I got into SG, the trick is just don't even care if you get in or not.  I was hoping I wouldn't and just do top of Ut or another late summer marathon.  But SG it is.

I hope your son is feeling better and that you get to run.

Mike- I am not sure, I did put my name in for SG, but I will probably be pregnant before then so it might not be for a while. I am trying to take a more relaxed approach to running and racing, not that I don't want to get pr's, I just don't like the injuries that come with being fanatic about running and doing tons of miles. But maybe this is just the approach I need to break that 3 hour mark:)

Thanks Carolyn, he's just hanging out on the couch watching Cars. Good luck this weekend:)

I keep forgetting-- did you do better on this last 5 mile race than you did last year when you were doing 80-100 miles a week? I was so tired on Saturday, that didnt' sink in. You ran an awesome race and I never congratulated your accomplishment (all things considered...there were quite a few things to be considered....). You're so humble and strong! P.S. Sorry to hear your son is sick, I hope no one else gets sick at your house....Bummer. Also, you drank out of my water bottle.

So if I'm barfing all week, I'll know who to blame.

My lips didn't touch the bottle. Last year I ran this same course with Sasha in 34:10 so I did it faster last year, but I was in better shape.

Good job getting drawn. This makes two years in a row I didn't get my name picked. :(

Glad you got in. I can't wait to get back out there on the Provo River Trail, it was too beautiful. Enjoy your runs this week.
