Decided to do a 5k to see were I am at. Warmed up with Ericka 4.5 it was snowing, then Melody joined for some and then Michelle made and we ran some more because the race was going to start much later than we thought. I got 6.5 miles in before the race (9:08). The race was completely flat and had a lot of turns. Michelle paced me and I had told her I would like to hold between 7-7:15's she is always an awesome pacer, she keeps me focused even when I don't want to. The race started and we had a bunch of kids go out and die pretty quick leaving just a couple of kid which we ended up passing though the race, Melody and 2 other moms. We all ran together until about 2.5 and they were just a little bit stronger and beat me by a bit. Yes even Melody 8 weeks postpartum. 1-6:59 2-6:55 3-6:56 Was starting to really feel it as was glad Michelle was there to pull me through. .2-1:08 the coarse was long Finished 4th with no guys in front of us. Was very happy with this being under a 7 mins pace:) Cooled down 3.5 (8:45 pace)
