1st place overall womans in Spanish fork 1/2 marathon, Tristate 1/2 marathon, Death Valley 1/2 marathon, and the Utah Valley marathon (4-12-08)

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run a sub 3 hour marathon and have a blast doing it.  

Have fun and enjoy the process 

Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Slept wonderfully the night before, me and Ericka stayed at the Fairfield.  Woke up and at some granola and a hard boiled egg.  Went over to the race about 8:30 and didn't do a warm up.  I felt good throughout the race, which I was happy about.  Haven't felt that great lately running so I wasn't sure how I would feel and be able to run.  The course was on this year so this was a faster pace than I have ran in this race.

1-7:14 1st couple miles seemed to take forever, but the ending went quick.

4-6:59 feeling pretty good, started kind of far back so I was passing a lot of people.

I saw you a couple times after the race but Im half blind without my glasses so I didnt say hi. Of course you probably wouldnt have known who I am anyway. Ive been known to talk someone and realize during the conversation that its not who I thought it was (Walter knows from experience). Congrats on a good run.
