Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

The hot tub sounds WONDERFUL!!! Is hot tubbing bad the night before a race? Is Painters flat? The course is a figure 8 so it couldn't be downhill, darn it ;)

If you get in a hot tub before a race just don't stay in that long. No Painters is not flat, but what goes up must come down. Right:) It is a fun course you will like it. I wish I was in shape to go down and race I need a break right now. Have fun!

I am excited. All of my long runs were up and down hilly routes so hopefully I will be ok. You take care of yourself :) We will miss you down there!

Ericka-Back is feeling good, my stupid foot is hurting form my elliptical. We saw you yesterday pulling out of the mall and honked but you where to focused on driving.

mmm hot tub! I was so mad that we thought the hot tub was broken at the hotel last week because we asked Emma's sister about it the next day and she said "Oh it's not broken you jsut ahve to get the key from the front desk". Doh! Well excuse me for thinking a "please consult the management" sign with a construction cone meant it was closed! hehe

How are you feeling? I thought ellipticals were good for sore feet, not the cause of them!

From Ericka on Tue, Jan 13, 2009 at 14:55:53

I must just tune the honks out. Heather honked at me in Kohl's parking lot the other day and she said I was the only one that didn't look.

Benn my elliptical is just different than the ones I am used to and I went gunho on it without thinking. It over worked my tibialis anterior which made the top of my foot hurt. It will be fine.
