1st place overall womans in Spanish fork 1/2 marathon, Tristate 1/2 marathon, Death Valley 1/2 marathon, and the Utah Valley marathon (4-12-08)

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run a sub 3 hour marathon and have a blast doing it.  

Have fun and enjoy the process 

Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Ran on the trail today with Cheryl had a good run execept I twisted my right ankle ( something i so quite often and is frustrating, it feels alittle tender and feels like the bones are out but I think it will be alright.  I will see if my husband can pull it back in and if not I'll go get it put back in by a chriropractor, something I also have had to do in the past.)  Was a low pace because it was a lot of up hill and then I couldn't run fast on the down hill because my ankle was tender.  1:10:01

I saw your name on the top runners list and thought I'd check your blog out. Way to be! I hope your ankle gets feeling better - trail runs are fun for everything except ankle rolling... Just wondering, how do you pronounce your name?

the out law josie wells or josie and the pussey cats. Ankle is sore and swolled this morning, alittle frustrating just coming off an injury but I think it will be ok. I have done it often and ran through the recovery. In fact I have run some of my best races on a sprained ankle. But I am going to a sports doctor on Monday so he can help me stengthen it so I don't continue to have the problem.
