Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

I think I am doing to much to soon after the marathon.  My sciatic has been flaring up more, I went to Dr. Dawson (my nucca chiropractor) yesterday and there is a huge difference.  But I still thought it to be wise to take a day off today from running.  Did the both bike and elliptical for 25 mins.

Cal- a Nucca chiro just deals with the neck, but it is very different than traditional chiropractics. And it helps my SI's better than anything else. When I finally went after my long bout with sciatica and doing months of therapy, it finally went away. Google it.

Brent-ya I might do a 5 or 10k but my next big race will be hobble.

Cal you get flare ups too?

From Cal on Thu, Jun 25, 2009 at 13:52:24 from 66.133.117.3

i have some lingering nerve issues, especially in the mornings when i wake up. (generally by the time i run, the pain has gone away or it isn't aggravated by running...)

i feel it the most at the top of my left calf. less often i feel it in the left glute. and i also have a recurring nerve sensation above my left hip.
