Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Took my dog up in the trails, everything is so green and pretty.  I was noticing how loosely my shoes where tied and thought maybe this is why I roll my ankle so much, so I tightened them around my ankles.  Hopefully that will help.

But then all the bones in your feet get bunched up and burn on long runs. I keep thinking about my foot ace bandage (or taping your ankle or even trail shoes). I know you've tried some of these things. You just have tiny ankles. I loan you some of mine....

The only place I tightened was around the ankle, I have them lace is such a way I can do that without it tightening up the other part of the shoe. I will have to shoe you.

Are you lacing in the further back of the two little holes?

I hope whatever you're doing helps.

It sounds like you had a very pleasant run today.

Josse, that entry made me smile. I love running with you, you make me laugh. I wear mine loose all up the front and then just firm around my ankle, something Hawk showed me, not sure if it helps or not but it's what I do!

Ya Mac that is the way I have mine laced, but I wasn't tightening them up around the ankle. But I have decided I have to for the trails.
