1st place overall womans in Spanish fork 1/2 marathon, Tristate 1/2 marathon, Death Valley 1/2 marathon, and the Utah Valley marathon (4-12-08)

Run a sub 3 hour marathon and have a blast doing it.

Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Ran with Rebecca with no watch felt good except when we went past someone cleaning out a sewer thing and I thought I was going to puke and pass out had to take a breather as soon as we were out of nose range. Cc loop.

Did my own version of body rock with 10 exercises 50 sec w/sec rest x3, I really like this type of circuit training.

I also got the results of my blood work. I have thyroid resistance which means my body over produces the thyroid hormone and causes all sorts of problems like enemia which I have, fatigue which I have, hormone imbalance which I have and other things. So hopefully after fixing this I will feel better for next year.

what blood test tests for thyroid resistance?? I have heard of this. But wasn't sure what was tested.

tmi but I haven't had a period since June. I have never gone this long (only missed one month before except pregnancy of course) and I am only 43. Joints hurt constantly. thryroid levels always come back low end of normal for both t4 and tsh--- so neither hypo or hyper if you understand thyroid tests-- it means the master producer isn't working rather.

It's not a certain test it is just how your #'s are that determine. My TSH was high so it tells you that my body is over producing it. I googled thyroid resistance and it basically describes how I feel. I think my grandma had it because it causes goiters and thyroid cancer and she had goiters. But most docs over look it.
