Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Not that sore form yesterday, alittle in the calves but nothing like Bryce.  Did a good secion of yoga this moring.

Regroup and refocus...I want to keep training hard and see if it will pay off in the marathon.  I still want to really focus on getting a good amount of sleep because I know that is a big part of my fatigue.  I am also going to get my iron tested to see if that is a factor.  As for running 70-75 miles this week with a focus on 2 really quality workouts (tues. and sat.).   Here we go:) 8 weeks and counting....

Went to bed last night not feeling well. And woke up not feeling well. Right lymph on my neck is really swollen and felling very pukey. But I didn't want to ditch out on Michelle so I went for the run any way. I did opt out of the tempo though, Matt came along feeling the same way I did so we ran together and Michelle did her tempo with Sasha. Not a good run but it's done. Had a couple of time when I thought I was going to lose my cookies but I didn't.

Went to bed way to late, those dang Olypmics.  Got up at 5:45 and was tired, but went out any way.  Felt alright I guess, sometimes it felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest.  I miss those days when almost every run felt good.  There is something about the end of summer and just being tired.  OH well, such is life.  Went out and back 9 by myself and then 2 with the dog.

Got to bed earlier last night.  Made myself go to bed after the swimming.  I love watching the swimming.

Got up and did the Temple loop.  Felt good, didn't feel like I was dragging the whole way.  Happy about that.  Took the dog out for 1.5 miles at the end.

I started watching the women gymnastics but told myself sleep was more important and I could watch it on the web tomorrow so I went to bed.  Got up earlier and went out by myself.  Did something alittle differant which was nice.  Feeling better than I was.  I have been taking Iron scence last sat., I haven't had time to get it checked but I am pretty sure I was low.  Getting decent sleep as well, not as good as last week but better than I was doing.  Ran 9 and then took my dog on a leash and son in the jogger 2 more.

Had a great workout today.  Met Michell, Mer, and James at the finish of the hobble course then we drove to about the half way point and ran up to the start.  Used the facilities there and went alittle bit more up then turned and ran to the start again.  There we started a 3 mile tempo, my goal pace was 6:30.  I was pretty much on my own after this, James and Michelle where up ahead and Mer was behind.  Then I did a miles easier and then another 3 mile tempo follow by another easy mile then a 2 mile tempo.

1st set (miles 1-3 of the course)- 1-6:20, 2-6:17, 3-6:13  total time 18:50

rest mile 7:13

2nd set  (miles 5-8) 1-6:26, 2-6:23, 3-6:45 (climb out the golf course)  total time 19:34

rest mile 7:41

3rd set (miles 9-10) was tired on this one and it shows  1-7:02, 2-6:50 total time 13:52

2:33:39 for the whole run

ice bath
