Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Had a blast running today.  Never thought, well kind of thought about it for a min last night, that I could do sub-19 but I stayed strong till the end and did it.  I was going to turn around this morning because the ride up was so bad, wind and snow and I was stuck behind plows going 20 miles an hour.  But I called Ericka and she said it wasn't that bad up there.  Got up there and warmed up 2.3 miles in the bitter freezing cold, was not dressed warm enough but who wants a bunch of bulky clothing on for a race.  Saw Kassi and chatted a bit and then and lined up.  The roads were pretty icy so I was questioning how fast I could really do this safely with the downhill and sharp turns, some places were really slick and some were not bad.

2-6:10

3-6:02

.1-35 (5:44) you finish with a 400 on the track that was slick with ice but I ran as hard as I could the clock said 18:43 and I was so shocked but I stopped my watch and it said 18:53 but either way I am really happy and excited about this, a huge PR for me and I haven't ran a 5k under 20 mins since college cross country.

Ran back up to our cars with Ericka and ran into Kassi again and chatted a bit more then I had to get home.

Later went to the rec and ran 8 more on the treadmill in 1:00:44/7:35 was tired but felt strong and was able to do a progression run starting at 8:30 working down to 6:30.

Great job on the PR. Looks like the weather didn't want you to do that!

Josse! Way to go today! Imagine how fast you would have ran on dry ground. So fun to see you. I am so impressed by all you do. Super Mom!

So so happy for you Josse! You have been working your butt off and training so smart and it is paying off. You paced the race perfectly and I am even more impressed that you went and got 8 more in later in the day on tired legs. Keep on keeping on, Ogden is going to be great. :)

Yeah, that's a great 5k--progression run double. You are absolutely killing it. I wouldn't be able to keep up with you if we started a marathon today.

Holy jalapeno Josse! Seriously, though, congratulations! The best part is you getting on the treadmill for an 8 mile progression run. You are tough and in such a good place :D

Thanks Michelle, I always think when I race well or do good in a workout that you would be proud of me. And that means a lot to me:)
