Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Met at Melody's to go run over at OHS outdoor track, I like this so much better than the indoor track.  WO was 6-8x800, I have decided that when I get tired I will do shorter and faster repeats so I did 6x800 and 2x400 with one lap recovery.  Felt good on the workout.

times-3:07, 3:06, 3:06, 3:08, 3:14, 3:07, 1:29, 1:23 Melody paced me for the last on and pushed me:) the last straight away.  Felt really good with the times and how I felt.

pretty consistent!! I bet you could have done two more at those paces....those last two are sooooo mental!! but those four hundreds are awesome!!! The outdoor track must have felt so much nicer!!!

btw do you still use a stopwatch on the track or garmin??

From josse on Wed, Feb 22, 2012 at 21:11:00 from 166.250.0.114

I used my Garmin which measured long for all of my repeats. I BYU out door track was spot on with my Garmin.

I did that AF track last summer and my garmin always measured it long. I think I will just take my stopwatch so I don't freak out. : D you should be very pleased with your splits!! I am not sure why I am feeling down in my training??? my muscles in my legs and my feet are always stiff....I sure hope to pull out of this and pull off at least a 3:15 at Boston.
