Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Meet with Michelle, MacK, and Ally in SF.  Started with a 4.67 mile warm up them did a 3 mile tempo 6:26, 6:35, 6:38 (19:39 total time) this was just me and Michelle on the tempo and the rest of the run.  Felt alright not my best but not my worst. Then just finished up easy.   Beautiful day!

I think you did great, especially given how you were feeling. It makes it so much better to have a running partner for these workouts. Thanks for driving down and for helping me out!

PS: I am above you in the mileage board by a whole mile! First time in months :) Tapering is not such a bad idea, though. I am chewing on how much to run next week. I just know I'll have to cut back miles the week after the marathon and with my need to develop my base I hate to cut back much next week.

I wouldn't want to do it by myself you pushed me through it. I think you should do what the body tells you, if you are tired next week cut back if not just keep the miles up. Oh ya I noticed the mileage board and thought about going another mile but bagged the idea;)

Not really a fair comparison when one of us is tapering and the other is running the most miles she has in three months!
