Short-Term Running Goals: See what my 40's bring next year
Get my grove back Long-Term Running Goals: Run a sub 3 hour marathon and have a blast doing it.
Have fun and enjoy the process Personal: I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue. Love to run and be outside. I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible. Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it! |

| Still have some lingering sickness but felt good enough to do something. Did 45 on the bike, med/hard sprints starting with 30 sec.x5 then 1min.x5 then 2 min.x5 with 30-1 mins rest. then 15 easy on the elliptical. WT upper | Comments(3) |

| Started with 30 mins on the elliptical and then went out with brune and the baby in the jogger for a run and some walking. Decided after running this that I am not ready to run, although I am feeling good in the pubic bone my sciatic and left hammy are bothering me. And after seeing Jason S. again for the muscle realignment I think I really need to work on my flexibility and get myself pain free first. This make me sad but I am not in running shape any way so what will a little more time off hurt. I plan to really work on doing yoga and see what that does for me, if that doesn't help along with the muscle realignment than I am just doomed and will probably never run pain free again. I also need to re-teach myself to walk and run Jason says this is the cause of my pain and sciatic problem, I need to walk more relaxed with my toes facing just slightly out. He says I need to lengthen my stride and land more heel to toes (which goes against what I thought before but after working with me I see why this works for me better). So here goes my new adventure in trying to come back to running. | Add Comment |

| Started the day with 35 mins of yoga, arms sore from yesterdays yoga. Then did 30 mins on the bike medium and it was such a nice day (42 degrees and sunny blue skies) so I took the dog for a walk. Hammy and sciatic feel good. |
