Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Well I made it 20 miles but i still don't know if I want to do the full marathon or not.  Oh what the heck may as well right!?!  JulieC was kind enough to keep me company for the distance.  We meet at the mouth of Provo canyon and ran down to the lake and back.  We avg. 8:30 going to the lake and 8's coming back which I thought was pretty good considering the way back is all slightly uphill.  I was tired the whole way from the half last week but I felt good on the way back until the last mile and my body shut down.  So I think I just have to go down and have fun with the marathon and nothing else.

Way to stick it out and run a negative split as well, particularly with uphill over the last half.

Thanks again Josse. It was fun to chat and run a beautiful route with you. Recover well, enjoy your Sunday off : D.

WOW! AWESOME 20 miler with a negative split on tough uphill and canyon wind to finish. You are such a talented runner! It was fun partying with you and Erica last night!

Great run, I really wish I could have been with you two. That's okay, maybe next time. About the marathon, I think you should really consider it. You don't have anything to lose and you did a 20 today! Pretty sure you will be amazing at the marathon. Surprise yourself :)

I think if you can have fun, that is the best you can ask for. Enjoy it and no matter what the time you can look back at it with a smile on your face.

nice run and good plan for the marathon. You seem to able to bounce back fairly well from tough races.

Josse, you've done the long run might as well do the full at this point! You'll do great, just take the next couple weeks to recover from the long run and the speedy 1/2 you did.

Had a GREAT time last night, it was so nice to hang out with such an amazing group of people!!

Well, at least you were 'well fueled' for the run. I hope if you do run Mesquite that it won't be hard on your body. I am so done running hard for a month or so. So I will cheer you on. Glad you had company for the long run. It was so great to see you and Ericka. You are so funny, it was fun to be at a party (although I miss those early mornings sometimes!). Be good to yourself.
