Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

So after biking on sat. my left siatic flared up.  This is differant than what I have been dealing with, if fact the old back thing seems to be doing good.  I was really frustrated.  Today I decided to go the rec center and test some running.  I did 2 miles on the treadmill and it seemed fine.  Then I did 20 min of pool running which seem to aggrivate the siatic alittle and then swam for 15 mins.  After I hopped back on the treadmill for another mile and then did my back and ab excerises.  The running seems to not hurt at all compared to the other stuff, weird.  Then I came home and did yoga.

Josse- dealing with chronic pain I know is a drag. Especially if it interferes with running. I am glad that running felt better today. You are an inspiration. Keep up the positive focus!! I haven't read blogs in a while but had read about some of your back issues. I saw your name under recent entries and had to comment. The rest was a good idea but good thing your body remembers good old fashioned running: good for the heart and mind.

Thanks Julie, hope things are going good for you.

I know how you feel Josse. I am dealing with some pain in my calf and am trying to cross train instead of aggravating it more.

Swimming and pool running for me too.
