Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Ran 7 on the treadmill in 56:36.  Started with a side stich but it went away after about 4 mins.  I rarly get those.  Then I swam 5 laps and sat in the hot tub.

Hot tub. . .sounds good!

But I was feeling yucky last night so decided to have an early bath and it made me feel worse. Hopefully it made you feel invigorated! Ready for tomorrow? I am excited ;) (we are doing a little speed workout together).

Paul said I shouldn't say that we are getting together to "do speed" but to "do speed workouts" since the former points to illicit drugs :)

I hope I will be ready I don't think the hot tub will even phase me but the massage I'm getting tonight might. But I am just excited to have someone to do a "speed workout" with. I am going to try to push it to a half marathon pace.

I agree with Michelle, hot tub sounds very nice right now and massage sounds even better. Have fun on your speed workout tomorrow! Its nice to have someone to do them with, esp. with Michelle!

I'm planning to run the Detroit Free Press marathon this October....if all goes well. I'm already nervous! Its close to home and quite flat, so I think this will be a good one for my first.
