Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Met Michelle, Adam, James, Matt, Merri and her friend at the mouth of Provo canyon.  We went from the mouth up to the dam and back.  I thought I was going to feel crappy but ended up having a great run.  Mostly just ended up running with James after the first 6 miles.  We progressivly got faster on the way down and he made me kick it up a gear or two the last half mile.  We were running sub-6 pace the last little bit.  Legs felt good and James kept me entertaned with stories the whole way.  So the run went by really quick.  Ice in the not so icy river and then worked on James alittle.

Great to meet you. Next time I'll have to stick around for some work as well. I'm amazed that you still had energy and strength after a 20-miler to to give a massage.

You worked on James a little? Hmm, not sure how to take that... ;)

From James on Sat, Aug 02, 2008 at 12:59:16

Jon- Nobody else that saw us quite knew how to take it either!

Come on you guys I am very professional. Even if it is on the side of the road. We did get some strage looks though and a lady was wondering if James needed some serious help.

Hey Josse- I bet you could make a bit of cash on saturday with the road side massage clinic. Way more than the 17 cents discovered. Hey it can be called the Michelle and Josse Canyon Spa for Recovering Runners. Ice bath by Michelle and massage by Josse.

Thanks for letting my brother and I tag along with you guys for a little while. And thanks for going through the barricades by Bridal Veil as well. I will look for you at the race next week and see if I can't stay with you to go under 1:30.

Jeff feel free to tag along when ever you guys want. I thought you guys would go further with us but you two where gone when I came out of the bathroom. See you next saturday. Fast and furious on the downhill and then hang on for dear life:)

Its nice to be entertained on a run, makes it go by so much faster. Its just hard when you start to laugh cause laughing hard and trying to run does not work very well:) We must be in sync with each other cuz when you have a good day I have a good day and vice versa!

A portable, roadside massage service, sounds like a great idea to me. Awesome miles this week. Keep it up.

What a nice long run today! Are you running Provo 1/2 next weekend? Thanks for checking out my blog. Diem is a cool maiden name. I guess my blog name would've worked well for you too- huh?

Yep doing the half.
