PR-St. George marathon 3:01:03 (2013) Provo City half (2013) 1:24:18, Nebo half marathon 1:21:16, Ogden Marathon(2013) 3:07:44,  Dixie 15k 58:36,  Running of the leopards 5k (2013) 18:48, Des news 10k 40:20, Half Ironman 2016, Boston Marathon x3, 2nd place in Pony Express 50 miler

1st place overall womans in Spanish fork 1/2 marathon, Tristate 1/2 marathon, Death Valley 1/2 marathon, and the Utah Valley marathon (4-12-08)

Run a sub 3 hour marathon and have a blast doing it.

Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Got up and went on a bike ride with my sister, started at my house and went up Provo canyon-25.14 miles/1:51:38/13.5mph felt pretty good.  Then when I got back I ran 1.58 miles-13.55/8:48 avg. pace was tired.

Calf was a little sore from last week, and I worked it out really deep.  Bike up the canyon with my sister 16.52-1:10:46-14 mph.  Canyon was really crowded.

Swam 10 laps then I got on the spin bike for about 15 min. and warmed up with some climbing and finished with some running outside 2.44 miles 22:01-9:02 pace.  Calf was sore,  it really stinks I just want to run faster and more distance.

AM- Swam 10 laps then I did the elliptilcal for 35 min.  went to pt yesterday and felt better but was sore so I didn't run.  

 

PM- 30 mins. of yoga

Biked from my house up the Provo Canyon-18.24/1:10:37/15.5mph.  Then I ran 3.19 miles/26:37/8:20 pace, alittle fast but I had to get back to pick up my boy from preschool.  Felt pretty good, we will see how everything feels tommorrow.  Have to take the weekend off because the hubby is out of town.

Did the spin bike at the rec center for 50 min.  then went and ran outside felt pretty good 3.64 miles/31.01/8:31 pace.  Calf felt good.

Rode my bike from my house up to the bottom of south fork 22.49 miles/1:24:30/ 16 mph leg alittle tired but was a good ride.

ran with my sister and my son in the jogger which forced me to slow down alot.  Felt good, 4.54/ 44:29/ 9:48 pace.  Weights upper, abs, back, and squats.

Started with 35 min on the bike hills, then I ran 5.17miles/43:57/8:31 pace.  Felt really good, calf feels good as well as my back. 

 

Goals for the week- run 3 days, crosstrain with swimming, biking, weights and yoga.

Start out on the trails today, which was great I love, love, love the trails.  Felt great and was so beautiful up there.  Ran boniville shoreline trail, started above the water towers and went north out and back.  Saw some deer, I think they releived i was a runner and not a hunter.  My watch was not charged so I don' know my real distance or time so it's just a good guesstament, but I have sone the trail many times so its pretty close.  Then I went to the rec and biked for 35 min.  Good day!

Ran carterville loop easy by myself, was a beautiful morning.  Started when the sun was coming up and watched the sun rise.  I love the mornings.  58:17/8:57  Felt good as soon as my leg warmed up.  Feel really good about my week I think I will try to run 20-25 miles next week as well as some crosstraining.

Warmed up on the spin bike for 30 min. doing climbing repeats, then went out and ran a flat loop from the rec center.  54:02/8:30  felt really good still holding back until I can build my mileage back up, this was hard  today I just wated to run faster and faster.  But that time will come.  Chilly outside.

Went to the rec center this morning and did 40 min on the elliptical and swam 10 laps.  A little bit tired this morning.  I'm trying to decide when to add in more days of running,  I have felt good but I want to continue to feel good.  Maybe next week?

Ran th country club loop by myself felt awsome, ran how I felt and didn't try to hold back.  Legs flet great.  1:00:04/8:18 avg. pace.  Can't wait to get back into race shape but I will be patient and wait until next spring.  Hubby is going to hunt this weekend so this is my last workout for the week.

I went off sugar about  a week and a half ago.  I usually do this for about 8-9 month out of the year but being injured all summer I didn't have the motivation to do it .  Even know sugar gives me terrible headaches, that should be motivation enough.  I do fine during the week but for some reason the weekend comes and I want something sweet.  I don't give in but it nags at me.  I love the way I feel off sugar, the befits far out way eating the stuff.

Goals for the week-  do what I can I will be in California for most of it.
