Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Got up and met with the Orem girls.  Ran on the canal, was tired and felt yucky.

8:21 avg. pace

abs/back and biked for 20 mins felt good biking.

I got my blood work back from the Dr.  She says everything looks great except my blood sugar was very low.  She asked me if I had been fasting, which I almost never do because it makes me crazy.  I said no and in fact I had just ate lunch.  So she said I am Hypoglycemic, which I have wondered for years but just have never been tested for.  So I just need to really focus on my diet again.  I felt the best I have ever felt eating like I did last year, so I just have to buckle down and recommit to perfect eating again.

Still running even when you feel tired and yucky, eh? Does the run help you feel better or make you feel worse?

I don't think it makes me feel better or worse. I only feel super crappy when I am running. I will get my blood work back today and hopefully that will tell me something.

That explains it, hypoglycemic makes you feel crappy. When my blood sugar dips below 80, I feel fainty and absolutely no energy. Hope you get back on frequent small meals that keep the glucose level happy again. Good luck at girls camp! Try to "bank" some extra sleep the rest of this week.

well, this is good Josse. It explains why you are feeling yucky, and it has a solution. I am glad, though sorry it has been so long since you felt well. You have been running enough that you haven't lost much fitness, and maybe the forced rest will bode well for some late summer/early fall racing!

I'm so glad you got an explanation and that you can do something about it!
