PR-St. George marathon 3:01:03 (2013) Provo City half (2013) 1:24:18, Nebo half marathon 1:21:16, Ogden Marathon(2013) 3:07:44,  Dixie 15k 58:36,  Running of the leopards 5k (2013) 18:48, Des news 10k 40:20, Half Ironman 2016, Boston Marathon x3, 2nd place in Pony Express 50 miler

1st place overall womans in Spanish fork 1/2 marathon, Tristate 1/2 marathon, Death Valley 1/2 marathon, and the Utah Valley marathon (4-12-08)

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run a sub 3 hour marathon and have a blast doing it.  

Have fun and enjoy the process 

Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

I am actually really enjoying my time off... Not obsessing about staying in shape is nice. I guess it takes many many years to realize that I can always get back into great shape and a good rest is what you need after a marathon:)

Went and watched the Provo city half this morning...love that race..next year:)

45 mins on bike then 15 on elliptical followed by HIIT and ankle rehab, it's feeling really good about 85%

Changing your form is frustrating stuff..50 mins on the  bike followed by 3 miles of feeling like I don't know how to run. I don't know what's happened to me to make my form so off. Did barefoot strides and that felt good, nice and fluid. Maybe I'll just become one of those crazy barefoot runners. Who thinks I can run a sub-3 marathon barefoot?? Not me

Oh man I feel totally out of shape. Did the bike for 50 mins and then met Marie at MV did half mile barefoot on grass then we did a loop. I was dieing to keep up. 8:17 avg pace it is crazy how fast it goes. Ankle did okay I think the kinvaras work better with the new inserts I got, they don't fit very well into the zumis

Did yoga with my mom then ran with Marie 3.5 and finished with barefoot strides on the grass. It was cold and raining so my feet got cold but it felt good to run fast, barefoot in the grass. Ankle is up and down yesterday it felt great and is a little more sore today but that is how injury healing goes.

went up to the Positional Release I in Ogden. I have major issues to fix and hip was froze. So he couldn't even put me on the treadmill to check my gate. Next time

Went and did the free Memorial Day 5k knowing that I am so out of shape but wanted to see where I am and work in form.  Ankle is still bugging me but getting better (I hope). Did half mile of barefoot grass running and then some more to get a mile then for the self inflicted torture. I hate 5k's especially when you are out of shape. My time was not great 7:30 avg. but it's something. 30 mins of biking and HIIT ankle rehab

Run by myself, can feel ankle after 3 miles. Spin 40 mins

decided to go to Dr Fraizer to see what he thought about my ankle, he said my tendons are not supporting my ankle and need more time off to heal. This make most sence to me because of the weakness in the ankle. So that's what I'm going to do and hope things heal up. I was sad but today (Thursday) I'm ok with it. It's just a repeat of last summer and bums me out to miss out on summer running. Next year I'm not training for a spring marathon so I can enjoy summer running.
