| Another 6 miles today, muscle are feeling extra tight in the left glute and hammy. Went from will's up to the mouth of the canyon. I was going to go further but saw some guy standing on the path in street clothes just staring at me. I stopped and stretched my claves deciding if I wanted to go up past this guy. He then bent down and started putting stuff in his pockets, it looked like rocks. I didn't have a good feeling about any of this. Then this guy on a bike came down and passed him, he stopped and told me that guy and a big long knife and to not go up any further. That was enough for me to turn around and go back. I did call the police and reported this. Got back to wills and added on another mile. Got home and stretched and did 45 mins of pilates. |

Meet Ericka for a 5 mile warmup before the 5k (47:18/9:26). I was really unsure what I would do today but wanted a bench mark of were I am. I was thinking I would be lucky to avg. an 8 min pace. so was happy with the end result. 1-8:12 most of this is up hill but felt comfortable 2-6:59 most of this is down hill and still felt comfortable 3-8:01 this mile is flat with a slight up hill at the end and then a sprint around the track. .1- :42 This was fun and did better than I thought I would. then 1 mile cool down Did p90x abs and 23 min of yoga plus arms and ball squats.

Got up early and ran. Warmed up for 2 miles and then ran quarters on the track. I decided I want to try to run a good 5k in June so I will do shorter fast stuff to try for that. Plan was to do at least 4 of them and see where I am at. 1-1:43 2-1:47 long 3-1:44 4-1:40 and then I decided to do another to see if I could go under 1:40 5-1:36 felt good and probably could have done more but that was good for a start. My goal for next week will be to do 5-6 at a 1:39-1:42 P90X abs, chest, and butt lifts, hammy's

Met up with Marie and the sojourners group. We did trails, which I was excited to do but I am so out of shape on the hills plus there was snow on them and it was cold. And it was uphill for the first 3 miles, my pace on those was between 13 (on the really steep stuff) and 10 min. mile. Then it flattens out and is rolling and I felt good and ran in the 8-9 range then on the downhill and flat canal back to the car I ran in the mid 8's and even had a 7:50. Was a good run but I am tired. Stretching. 1:53:48/9:48 25 mins of arm circuits

Went early and did speed on the track 5x400, still feeling a little under the weather but not to bad. Warmed up 2 miles to the track and did every other lap hard. 1-1:39 2-1:40 3-1:39 4-1:40 5-1:33 felt good with this and then ran home. After taking the kids to school did 35 mins of pilates core and legs plus stretching. P.M. 30 min ultimate ball workout
