Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Got my injections yesterday and he got bigger longer needles to get deep into the muscle.  Sounds fun huh.  Was sore so I only stretched yesterday and have muscle soreness today from the injections but SI and sciatic feel good.  Now I will start on trying to get full rotation back into my mid back area, this affects the SI as well when you run and mine is bad.  

Today I went and ran around the OFC track, started and ended with a .5 mile of walking and ran 4 miles.  felt good just hate pushing a jogger around in circles but it went fast.  Stretched and then did a 40 mins total body circuit training.

I am so sore from the circuit training yesterday, esp. in the legs.  But what better way to work out the soreness then running.  Started with the elliptical for 20 mins and then went to OFC and ran 4 miles walking 1.  Then stretched really good.

P.m. 30 mins of pilates core and arms.

Legs are still sore.  Started with some really good stretching to loosen up my back then 20 mins on the elliptical then went outside and ran 3 walking .25 in the start and finish.

Started with 25 mins on the elliptical.  Then went down to the jogging path and ran 5.2 miles.  I felt tired and legs were dead.  Getting back in shape is hard!  But I did expect this so its okay.  Then came home and did 40 mins of core pilates.

Went for a run at the same time the cold front came in.  When I started it was 45 degrees but about .5 mile into the run it got super windy and cold then started to rain turning to snow.  I didn't wear a hat or gloves and only had a thin long sleeved shirt, I was getting cold.  I ran a little faster than I normally do and was a little nervous my body would revolt.  But it seemed to do fine with it.  Ended up with a 9 min avg. pace.

started with 20 mins on the elliptical and then went out and ran pushing the jogger it was a little breezy but super sunny.  felt good after yesterday but ran really easy.  Came home and stretched really good.

I am feeling pretty good, I had a slight flare up in my right SI but after scraping last night I was not bothering me at all this morning.  I started with 30 mins on the elliptical and then took Brune for 2 and then another 3 all while pushing the jogger.  Then walked .75 miles and stretched and did 30 mins of pilates core and arms.

Met Luz and Ericka at Will's.  Got there early to walk a little then we ran to the drinking fountain and back.  It was very cold and windy at the mouth of the canyon.  Saw Julie e., Marie and Amber coming down the canyon and then Hawk at the drinking fountain ran with him till the mouth and that mile was an 8:30 and felt so good but slowed it down so I didn't hurt my self.

The weather was so spring like, it was lovely.  took the jogger out for a 5 mile run then walked Brune for 1 mile after.  Felt good and am starting to feel like a runner again.

Such nice weather, it makes me want spring.  Got some more homeopathic injections but this time he focused on my mid back and did some in my sacrum.  Wasn't going to run but I felt fine and was able to go out at 5 for a nice 5 miles.   Felt good and ran a little faster than usual.  Came home and did ball squats and ball abs.  Dr. Brady showed me some squats to build my butt, which he says is way to small to support my long back and it needs to be stronger.

Glutes were sore and leg a little tired, plus shins are tight and sore.  Scraped the calves can feel some shin splints starting, will stay on top of those.  Went out in another spring like day, last one for a while the weather man says:(  started with 15 mins on the elliptical and then ran 4 and walked 1 all while pushing the jogger, was getting windy.  Then did  40 mins of total body circuit training and stretched.

Decided i needed a day off running today, my shins are still sore so I scraped them again last night.  Started with 40 mins on the elliptical then did lat pull downs, row, biceps and triceps, and ball squat.  Then 20 mins of pilates and stretching.

Met Luz and Ericka down at will's and ran up just past the drinking fountain, turned because the winds were super bad and then added on past will's.  We were all tired so the pace was slow.  Came home and did circuit training abs and upper body for 30 mins plus ball squats and stretching.  shins are feeling much better.

Got up and ran cause the kids are off school, it was nice to get it done and not have to puxh the jogger.  Did my L-loop and then took the dog around the block.  Stretched and then did 40 mins of pilates.

ran pushing the jogger felt good, focused on pushing the little uphills there are on this run.  walked brune 1 mile at the end.  stretched and did 40 mins of pilates, ball squats + single leg, butt lifts, rows, and lat pull downs.

my mom watch the baby so I could run I felt good and thought I was flying, I looked at my average pace and it was only a 9:03.  I was thinking it would be under a 9 but I did run some good uphills but had my pace in the low 7's for some of the run.  Oh well.

Ericka came over and we did and 8 mile loop from my house.  It was snowing and a little slick out so the pace was a little slower.  It feels good to be able to run 8 miles, 2 away from 10:)  We came home and stretch and did ab ripper X, then I did 40 mins of full body circuit training.
