Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Went to the gym and started with 30 mins of pool running at an intense pace.  Then I swam for 15 mins and finished with 5.5 on the TM.  I want spring back.

PM-30 mins on the elliptical.  I was feeling a little pudgy so I wanted another workout.  I still have the weight on that I gained when I was pregnant for that 10 weeks.  It just wants to say around.  And I am telling it that it needs to go.

Nice workout!!!

Question for you- twice in the last month, after my long run I have had what feels like a bladder infection for that day. I am fine by the night and next day, but it is really weird. I am wondering if I need more fluid during my runs. Maybe electrolytes? any ideas?

From josse on Mon, Mar 23, 2009 at 15:23:43 from 70.193.130.195

I would say just up your water intake through out your day, I think you should drink 4-5 liters a day.

From Marion on Mon, Mar 23, 2009 at 15:29:32 from 71.213.123.102

It's probably the changes in temps and not adjusting my water intake. I haven't been paying much attention to the water this winter. I'll work on it and see if I can keep it from happening again. THANK YOU!!! During the summer I drink at least 16 cups a day, and I haven't been drinking that much this winter at all.

Queen Josse, are you hoping to defend your marathon title? Josse, will rool her subjects again. Best to you on the rehab. Cross training thru injury is just darn mentally tough.

Stay Kool, B of BS Rools out

Wow, I thought the last comment was from Britta, and started thinking, did someone sprinkle some Brent in Britta's koolaid?

Brent- I am not really sure, still planning on getting pregnant so training for a marathon is not really high on my list of things to do right know. But if I am in shape at the time and not prego then maybe.

Hey Josse- the RHPC(Red Hot Pink Chicks) are throwing a 1/2 in Provo canyon july 11th. It's gonna be pretty silly :) We can make it a run for fertility :D The prizes are going to be super dorky and we are eating at Ihop afterwords :)

From josse on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 11:15:57 from 70.192.75.33

Is this an official race? You guys are funning but I would do it if I can:)

From Marion on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 11:26:13 from 71.213.123.102

Officially, it is a "race" kinda but not really. We are going to have t-shirts and awards and food, so maybe kinda real :) Who knows, maybe it will be SO awesome that we will do it forever and it will become a real race :) We are either going to carry fuel or if we can get some of our families to man some gatorade, we'll have water stops. I'll probably have my kids make the race numbers :D

I love it! I will tell some girls in my neck of the woods, I am assuming you want lots of people?

From Marion on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 18:13:25 from 71.219.59.196

We'd be glad to have everyone come :) Again, it may be super low tech- like the worst organized race ever :) But it will be super fun :) The colors will be of course Red and Hot Pink! The dorkier the outfits, the better :)
