Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Took Brune to the RHPC with blisters on the back of my heels from last night with only about 6 hours of sleep and ran the 5k.  I had to run in some really old shoes because they didn't hurt my blisters and the others did.   It was a nice cool morning due to the storm that came in last night.  Ran a blistering 29:57/9:42 beating the 8 year old boy I was running with (I was going to let him take the race but he stopped and walked the last .1).  Couldn't stay around to see the others come in cause I have a class this morning but I am sure they had just a good of time as I did:)

My last run...bitter sweet for me.  I look forward to the day I can run again.... until then I will enjoy you in my dreams.

It was my pleasure, I am glad he was there so I didn't go any further.

Josse, I was sad you had to leave before I could crawl back to the finish. Thank you so much for marking the trail and setting out the markers. I'm sorry my brain doesn't work late at night and we had to walk so many miles to find the 10K marker, but I loved it. It was quite an adventure and my daughter is still talking about it. You have earned her respect and admiration forever. I'm just sorry you got blisters. You looked radiant in your running skirt this morning. Come take a walk with me one of these evenings. You're not giving up running forever, but you can still be outside enjoying nature. Thanks again for everything....
