So yesterday I woke up with a sore adductor/medial hammstring. I didn't pay much attention to it. I did scrape it and have my husband put some pressure on it with his foot (ok I had him stand on it but not with all his wieght). It is still sore, I think it is a combination of the long run on sat. and squating for 1.5 hours picking strawberries. None the less it is sore and I think I will be taking this week alot easier than I had planned. Hopefully this will be gone in a couple of days and not set me back any. I will follow all my own advice, and I am getting a massage tomorrow.
I slept in and wasn't even going to run at all, but I wanted to see how it felt running on it. So when my husband came home to shower I went out for an easy 2 miles. It felt alright could feel it but not bad. Then I came home and biked for 20 mins. then iced it while I lifted upper and core. |
