Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Do you think Wednesday evening would work?

Hey thanks for the referal to this website. You are great. I hope you make your goal of sub 3 martahon. I will probably one day do another marathon, but not for a while. Sasha thinks I can one day be under 2:30. I don't know if I would go that far, but to get in the shape I use to be in would be nice.

Sasha has a really good eye for spotting talent. I am so glad you joined the blog, I think it is a really great way to promote the marathon. We all seem to get attached to each other, so once people get to know you I think the marathon will grow. So keep on bloggen.

Awesome race on Saturday, Josse. And sweet recovery run :-D. Man you are racking up the miles and starting the year off right! Can't wait until I am able to as well.

Quick question: so I made an impromptu heel lift out of a shoe insert (doubled it up and put it under the heel of my orthotic - and it seems to be helping. I am virtually pain free walking around and such. It's been 4 weeks since I have stopped running with only 1 2 miler during this time at about 10:00 to 10:30 / mile pace. Do you think it's too ambitious to try and do a couple miles on Saturday or Sunday? Saturday = 3 month mark until my marathon!! Im' getting nervous.

Sure I would take it for a test run, just make sure it is no more than 3 and it is very easy. When I got unjured last summer I had to make the decision whether to run the marathon or not. So I crosstrained and ran what I could until about a month and a half before and then made the decision not to and take some real time off running. I was hard but sometimes we have to just give up one marathon for another:) Good luck!
