Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Post marathon soreness has settled in good. I didn't think I was going to be sore becuase after the race my legs felt fine. I am not as sore as I have been after past SG but more sore than I have been after my others this year. I put all my wet clothes in a bag after the race and just took them out and was noticing how heavy they where so I put them back in the bag and weight them on a doctors scale 3 lb!! and that is over 24 hours after the race and not including my shoes which I am sure would have added another 2 or 3 pounds.  Craziness!!!

The next while will be pretty low key for me.  I would love to do another marathon soon to get that 3 hour mark but I promised my husband I would lay low on the racing for a while.  But I do plan on training for a half in Jan.

That's crazy about the weight of clothes! Dang! As for the soreness.. you ran a superb race so I bet some soreness is in order. Enjoy the rest break. You deserve it! Jan 1/2.. Painter's?? You will do SWEET!

Probably not painters but pf changs in Arizona. Michelle is doing the full so it would be fun to go with but I am not wanting to train for a full, at least not at the moment.
