Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Oh not a very good run today.  Took the dog out for an easy 4 miles at 1.5 into the run I had to go to the bathroom and there was no waiting.  It is hard to find a spot with a dog, but I did and thought I would be fine.  After another mile it came back and it was a painful rest of the way home.  Plus I got a massage and so I felt tired and beat up.  I hope the stomach thing was just my breakfast not agreeing with me.

I think you are sounding very ready and I expect at some point you will go racing past me. You beat me by 33 secs in hobble creek and I am just hoping I am only 33 secs behind you in St. George. Good luck and hope to see you down there crossing the finish line. That way I'll at least know I am close by.

Josse, Thank you for this post. As a novice runner it is really good to see this kind of detail, and commitment.

I'm kinda confused what the "guide 108.8" is. Shoes?

From josse on Thu, Oct 02, 2008 at 08:59:09

Jona- the guide is the shoe and the 108.8 is the miles I have ran so far on them
