Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Meet with Michelle, Sasha, Jeff, and Brad and ran the uneventful half.  I arrived early and warmed up 2.1 before in 18:03.  First off my left should has this huge cramp in it.  It start in my back where the daiphram attaches and moves up the my shoulder.  It killed me the whole run.  This was a tough run for me I want to give up at 10 and did stop and say I was done but Sasha wouldn't let me (which I am so glad I finished).  Started pretty chatty  but by 5 for me I wasn't chatting any more, but Michelle still was.

total time 1:34:07/7:11 so better than last time.  But I fell apart at the same place as well.  Need to work on that section of the half.  Happy with the results, allthoug I wish I would have felt better.  Thanks to the wonderful pacers:)

WR(609.2) I have shoes on order but haven't got them yet.

You did awesome, especially given the circumstances. I think our weak points in 1/2 marathons can stay the same (you were saying for you it is mile 8-10) but we can make them less damaging and stronger over time. Your training is paying off, to do so well given your pain. Your training is really going to pay off in the second 1/2 of Ogden when you are strong and my wheels start to wobble :)

Great run and we to be dedicated and stick it out. These are the runs that really help in races and show why you won a marathon.
