Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Meet Michelle out in SF the plan was to do a 30 mins tempo.  We turned around every 10 mins so we would see each other more, and kind of do a chasing thing.  Well the roads we were on were solid snow ice mix so I had a really hard time keeping a decent pace, I even slipped and fell in the second mile.  I made it 4 miles in 30:58.  It will be intresting to see what the pace is when the road are good.  Did a 2.5 mile warm up.

Good job getting up after the fall and just pressing forward. I think I would have stopped and cried. Thanks for meeting with me for the workout. The conditions were really poor and you'd have been much faster with clear roads and imagine what clear roads and 45F, boy that sounds like nirvana! Thanks for being my rabbit!

No problem it gets me out, even know I feel kink of pathetic right now. Can't wait for those clear roads!

You fast girls are so amazing...I know when you roads clear I'm not going to be much faster but I do look forward to it anyway.

I am up for another session. Should we do Thursday or Friday? My leg felt good until today but I think that's because my partner can't tell when she's going to fast and I wanted to try and see if I could do her pace and what it would do to my leg.

Man you girls make me feel sedentary that's for sure! Way to really book in the miles!

Benn-your time will come. I don't know much about achilles, but I would be on the conservative side. I have a friend who ran on his for months before finally taking a several month hiatus. I am not sure it is an injury you can run through. Like, I said though I don't know much about it. I just don't want you to make it worse by running on it too much :) Do some research and let us know what's best so we don't worry about you.

Sarah- either day is fine. I will give you a call tomorrow.
