Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

I slept  in this morning, can you believe that.  I got over 8.5 hours of sleep, WOW that is amazing.  I took my kids up the canyon around 11:30, way to hot.  I pushed my son in the jogger and my daughter was in her speedy wheelchair.  Very nice slow run.

Excellent family run and roll! I am trying to get in th mindset of pushing my 2 year old this winter while the rest of the kiddies are in school.

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE SLEEPING IN!!! You must have needed it. My rule is, if you are very normally an early riser, and you sleep in- you needed it and should go with it! :D

have a great day! Thanks so much for all of your help!!!

Wow i cant even imagine pushing a stroller (not that i ever have) in the mid morning summer heat. Great job and so glad you got some extra sleep!!

Josse, one tough chicka, major miles this week and pushing strollers. Sounds like major major fun.

By the way, do you remember if any part of the Hobble creeck course has a dirt shoulder? I am debating on running the race, it would be nice if some of the miles could be run off the asphalt.

I know it has a dirt shoulder, I am not sure how runnalbe it is. Next time I run it I will notice for you and let you know. Or how about I go take a bull dozer and make one for you, I am sure no one would mind;)

Josse, a bulldozer would be good, covered with some wood chips, my own cheering section and some running mates.

Your daughter's wheelchair must be real speedy if it can keep up with you!

From josse on Sat, Aug 02, 2008 at 00:38:38

Yes it is very speedy Jon. I clocked her with my garmin one day and it wasn't even on the top speed and I got her going sub-7 pace. I couldn't go any faster becuase it was my second run and I was beat. I am interested to see how fast it is on the top speed but she is scared to go that fast.
