Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Got up and met with all the girls at Marie's house.  Ran the same little loop we did last time except I didn't add on more.  Marie calls this the Will's loop.  Didn't feel that great, but the back wasn't as sore as yesterday.  Made myself just do the 5 and be done.

I bet down time is fun! I heard that some of you out there got 12+" of snow?! Eek! No thank you! :) Can we just skip to spring?

I like the down time I just wish the back felt better so I could enjoy it more. But then I probably would not be taking such good down time that my body so desperatly needs.

The mountain got alot of snow but the little bit we got in the valley has melted. But it is cold. I feel the same I would love if we could just skip to spring, after Christmas of course:)

Oh of course. Only AFTER Christmas ;P! Have you tried getting some deep tissue massage things or whatever everyone always talks about? Or even just go to the spa and just sit in a hot tub all day :-D That'll loosen things up! What's your next race you're thinking about? Painter's 1/2?

From josse on Thu, Nov 06, 2008 at 09:20:24

I have been doing alot of treatment for my back and it does help, it is just taking its time getting better. I put the heating pad on it and it does help loosen it up alot (I wish I had a hot tub). I also have been doing a lot of yoga.

I am not sure what race I will do next. That is kind of on the back burner right now until the back fells completly better. But I don't really feel like training hard right now so probably not the Painter's. I am thinking something in the spring.
