Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 26, 18, &12and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Got up and met Michelle early at Sasha's and we warmed up alittle so Michelle could stretch.  Then the whole gang showed up and we did about another 2.5 before we started into some speed (Michelle wanted to be paced for a 5k)  I just want to hold on for a mile and did my mile in 6:09.  Fastest on the trail so far.  Finished up the the run with Daniel and ran a little but with Sarah.  Then I came home and finished up with laps around my block, fun stuff.  Better run today than yesterday.

Core work on the ball.  WT upper and abs.

Ran to the park down the street and ran barefoot on the grass, I had to see what this was all about.  I loved it!  It feels like you are a kid again, feeling the soft cool grass under my feet.  I think I will do this a couple of times a week.  I can see how this really helps your form.  Followed by some good stretching in the grass, ITCHY.

YAY! Glad to hear you're feeling better than yesterday!! So I've been wondering. When you all meet in the morning it must be just barely light right? like 5am? Do you always run on the trails, or on roads? Because it seems like Sasha is always coming across people or seeing them. I think that that part of Utah is like distance runner mecca or something! haha

We meet at 5:30 and it is light at this time of year, which I love. We always run a paved river trail, lots of people run on this trail esp. when it is summer. There were lots of people out this morning.

Josse-- I'm glad to see you got out barefoot! I find that when I double on a harder day I usually feel better if I run the second workout (or at least 2 or so miles of it) barefoot. It forces you to take it a bit easier, relax, and keep good form. Plus it is fun!

BTW, I ordered the scraping tools, so when they get in, we will have to have you teach us the art.

Oh my gosh I loved the barefoot running! Of course I would love to teach you how to use the tool (just don't let your pt find out;) Just let me know
